Yoshiki Horita was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido and currently lives in Kanagawa. In 1998 he made his debut as a vocalist for Victor Entertainment. After he became independent in 2004 he was asked to train up new artists, which drew attention to his voice and breath training. He wrote a series on vocal practice for four and a half years in the popular music magazine: SOUND DESIGNER. He offers one-on-one lessons, lectures, workshops and retreats throughout Japan.
He has introduced Kirtan, an act of Bhakti yoga and songs of prayer originating in India, to a wide range of audiences in Japan, and has collaborated with many yoga teachers. His studio in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Morning Lights Voice Therapy is visited by many across all genders, ages and occupations.
