musician, Representative Director of the Artist Power (AP) bank
Takeshi Kobayashi is a musician and Representative Director of the AP (Artist Power) bank. He manages recording and production for prominent Japanese musicians. In film music, he has created numerous works including “Swallow Tail” and “All About Lily Chou-Chou”.
He started the non-profit “AP bank” in 2003, initially focussing on financing environmental projects. The bank soon expanded its scope to producing outdoor music festivals, including the “AP bank fes” – supporting communities affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
He is the Executive Committee Chair and Production Chairman of the Reborn Art Festival, which started as part of the reconstruction assistance for the Earthquake-affected areas. Recently, he has been working on the “KURKKU FIELDS” project, transforming his farm in Kisarazu, Chiba, into a sustainable farm and park to visualize and demonstrate the circulation of food.
